Hi guys! I really enjoyed your report on your trip to Brazil! I have lived here so long that it is a nice refresher to see what other impressions are. We just missed each other in Teófilo Otoni -- I think you must have already gone to Ouro Preto at that point. While you were there did you happen to have time to visit the museum of minerals? It has one of the most spectacular exhibits of minerals crystals in the world. In fact, I think there are two large collection on exhibit in Ouro Preto, but things might have changed since I was last there -- it has been a long time. But isn't that city so beautiful! I was back down to Teófilo Otoni last week for 4 days hanging out. Looks like the International Gem Fair will go ahead -- I am sooooo glad! Oh, and aren't cashew fruits just the wildest thing you've ever seen? I think my jaw dropped for a good five minutes the first time I saw one. hahaha Oh, and I really liked your photos, too!
